these are a couple of batman comic pages i found that i could base one of my pieces on through tracing the image and insert the text with it, i will see how this looks.
These are a couple examples of onomatopoeia that I found through out my research.
i was more interested in the ones focused around comics so i decided to do some more research on comic book cartoons.
I then researched the old school batman show and looked threw the examples used in there show
this is a clip of the old batman series where it shows a fight and samples the use of onomatopoeia.
In my illustrated initials i started with two people to work on and them two being Chris brown and kanye west, I had a good view of what I was going to do because they are both musical and very artistic and creative people, as I began doing my research I learnt a lot and had numerous ideas to pursue for these two. I had more ideas for kanye west and I began using him as my main ‘illustrated initials’ after noting all my research and all my design ideas I came up with my final design which I got to by putting together all of my previous thought processes. I had much more ideas that I didn’t actually have enough time to work on in the first part of the project.

Indesign is used for magazines, book publishers and more

this was our first exercise for the workshop, we had to do a magazine page with a image and a title.
placing the image into a square and cropping it to that square!
after that we went on to making cd covers and used websites to get a random title with a random picutre and another random sub title we then designed cd cases in indesign.
With Chris Brown's Illustrated Initials I have based the work on his Fashion in what he wears because that is a big reflection on his creativeness, his Tattoo's also are also and his personal art he has done and his favourite pieces of artwork from his favourite artist's such as Kaws, Banksy, Kidzoom & Ron English.

these are pictures of chris brown wearing the clothing designs he likes and also his tattoo's which I previously said shows his creativeness.
Chris Brown's Tattoo's
Chris Browns tattoo's show a lot of creativity in them, he has mixed a lot of his favourite artist work in to them such as 'KAWS' and various cartoon characters.
In his tattoo here he has the diamond on his chest which is from a skating clothing line called 'Diamond Supply'
On his arm here you can see some pieces from 'Kaws' who is a graffiti artist that he likes the work of.

another tattoo which I think shows a good sense of creativity its a tattoo with a skeleton with a halo above, since skeletons are usually perceived as bad and related to hell putting a halo above it changes the perception of the image.
Chris Brown also has a Logo which he puts on his products.
Round-Up of Research
I have done a lot of research on chris brown's personal interests to give me a lot of stuff to look to when designing my illustrated initials for him, I am going to use a lot of his previous art work and his tattoo design's and his clothing label's he wears to put together initials to give a good perception of his character.
